She has also worked sketch cards for other companies and licenses including Terminator 2 Trading Cards and Island Dream Charity Cards.

She started drawing at a young age influenced by her two brothers who are also artists who have drawn for Topps. She soon noticed she favored a cartoon style and landscape painting which was based on her love for old Cartoons. (Warner Brothers, Disney, Peanuts, as well as newspaper comics). She also loves Sci-Fi, fantasy, cryptids, Star Wars, and especially Bob Ross who taught her to put a “Happy Tree” somewhere.

She creates custom characters for companies, children’s illustration art and paintings. She was a license artisan and has done wood burning art, marionettes, paper mache art (parades), as well as various other crafts. She has shown her work in art shows and won a mentorship from Harper Collins Publishing for children’s art and writing. She is currently working on her own character series to be announced soon.

On a side note she is also related to the Zapata family of artists which includes Jeff Zapata (Artist and producer of “30 years of Garbage” film ), Michael (MAZ) Zapata (former Topps sketch artist), and Christopher Zapata (composer and musician).[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”3185,3184,3183″ onclick=”img_link_large”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Reach out to Lily at:
